I took in a Redhawks baseball game this weekend in Fargo. I’d forgotten how much fun they are. And as usual, the actual game took a backseat to all the extracurricular activities associated with baseball at this level. Especially noteworthy on this perfect evening was a fireworks display that followed the game. I’ve always been a big fan of things that explode in the sky, and I would rank this display in my personal top five. It was incredibly aggressive and it had the “feel” that a scud attack could take place at any moment. I especially found the accompanying music quite humorous. “Come Fly With Me” by Frank Sinatra really didn’t work. I’m sure I was the only one that noticed that there was actually any music. The entire show was about 15 minutes long.
