Burger King Ribs

Remember a couple months ago when I went to Kentucky Fried Chicken and I ate the Double Down Sandwich?  Well, I recovered from that.  By the way, KFC recently announced that they had sold ten million Double Down Sandwiches. I only ate ONE. Now Burger King has come out with something almost as bizarre: BBQ Ribs. So in the best interest of being able to make fun of them , and to get a blog out of it at the same time, I decided to give them a try. Well, a funny thing happened on the way to BK the other night: turns out somehow that the ribs are really good. Look, I’m as shocked as the next person, but I was impressed. I have no clue how they make them but they are tender and have a very nice smokey flavor to them. One drawback is that they are comically overpriced. They will need to figure out a way to make them more affordable.

  1. do they have those fake charcoal marks on them like the mc rib does? do they have bones?

  2. They have marks on them but I honestly think they are real, as if prepared over a flame on a grill. They do have bones…think of them as Applebees riblets on steroids.

  3. I know how they make them. In the microwave like everything else. I can’t believe the money people spend on fast food. People should be making food at home and staying healthy. Burger King and McDonalds are the reason that there are so many obese people out there. One double cheeseburger at BK is 410 calories and 23 grams of fat! One McDonalds double cheeseburger is 440 calories and 23 grams of fat. Come on people!
