No Two Days

Without a doubt, the #1 question I get asked is "What’s your favorite part of working at WDAZ?"  And through my years I’ve developed a standard reply, "No two days are ever the same."  I use this answer because it’s easy to remember and because it also happens to be true.  And while many of the days start out the same, they more often than not don’t end the same.  There is always at least one thing that leaves its signature on a "normal" day.  Yesterday, it was this:

A 29-year old woman from Phoenix had some difficulty while parking yesterday.  Her foot slipped off the brake and hit the gas pedal as she was parking in front of Halal Meat.  Halal Meat is located on South Washington in Grand Forks, and to be honest, I had never noticed it before yesterday.  It’s way more noticeable with a car sticking out of the front window.  The scene brought onlookers from miles around.  Including a TV crew looking for the day’s signature story.  No two days are ever the same.

  1. About 50 feet South of The Rite Spot. I think you know where that is.
